  2. The linked blogger sent me a tip. Incidentally the actual story here is that the NDAs WotC had its 4E playtesters sign are still in effect, and they apparently sent out an FAQ to remind them all. Compare and contrast with the “Disclosure Pledge” that Evil Hat is making their playtesters sign for their Dresden Files RPG in development.

  3. It’s a charmless effort, as most legal reminders are, but I don’t know what the big deal is. I’m currently under four NDAs for scriptwriting work I’ve done for videogames. The games themselves have been published for years, but the terms still apply: I can’t talk about previous drafts or add the scriptwriting files to my portfolio as samples of the work.
