It would seem the iconic Diana Jones Award – made from the storied remains of the final copy of the Indiana Jones Roleplaying Game – has been misplaced by the postal system. According to the official press release, the pyramidal trophy was shipped from the 2019 winner (in Canada) to the 2020 winner (in Indianapolis), as per the annual tradition, but the trophy never arrived. It has apparently also been too long to track the package. Alas, this almost seems a fitting end to the Diana Jones Award trophy’s journey, akin to being left in a warehouse, forgotten like the Ark of the Covenant. Though a replacement trophy is in the works, if anyone happens to find the original, the Award committee would appreciate precise directions to its resting place.
