Wizards of the Coast has finally selected the three fantasy setting submissions that will move to the final stage of WotC’s fantasy setting contest. As you can see here, the finalists are Philip Nathan Toomey, Rich Burlew, and Keith Baker. Presumably, the three of them will each be receiving their $20,000 for getting this far, and are hard at work on their 100-page “setting bibles” that will be used to narrow the three to a single winner, who will get an additional $100,000. Wisely, WotC doesn’t seem to have announced a timetable for this last part of the contest.
