So we got this press release from Pinnacle, click Read More to read it. They’re taking their Savage Worlds system, just released to apparently strong sales (I had a look at it… looks disappointingly ordinary, but I haven’t looked that closely, to say nothing of actually playing) and doing a standalone game world with it. The world is a Tolkienesque utopia that suddenly faces some vague kind of threat. There’s this other game called Midnight, and this one says it’s gonna be dark… hmm, I wonder if it’s gonna be similar.
