So, we made our annual pilgrimage and got out to KublaCon 2014 – The Khan of Cons – and had a great time, as always. We came back with plenty to share, so let’s start with a Gaming News Update interview with Thomas Denmark of Studio Denmark. Tom gave us the details on his upcoming RPG, Warriors of the Red Planet, for which he also did the fantastic artwork. Tom is responsible for such memorable game designs as Dungeoneer and Murder of Crows, so there’s no doubt we’re looking forward to seeing this desolate-yet-stylish old school game. Friends, gamers – lend us your ears.
In April 2011, Alderac Entertainment Group will release Emerald Empire for the 4th Edition of The Legend of the Five Rings RPG. Emerald Empire is a study of all aspects of life in the Emerald Empire of Rokugan. It contains information on a wide range of topics: politics, the Celestial Order, arts, war, family life, customs, and much more. This edition features mechanics from the 4th Edition, as well as adding upwards of 30% new content as compared to the previous edition of the book.
