Christmas Gift Guide 2008

OgreCave's Christmas Gift Guide 2008

The season of giving, gaming, and good cheer is upon us again, and as always, we've got your back. When the family gathers together to share the holidays, you want to have the right games to share as well, right? More to the point, when the gift giving begins, you want to be sure Grandma gave appropriately awesome games, not a subscription to Readers Digest. Allow the OgreCave crew to assist by compiling our guide of giftworthy game products from the past year in OgreCave's Christmas Gift Guide 2008.

Our eighth annual guide (yeah, we're old) makes some slight adjustments to the gift categories we're offering up. Our Stocking Stuffer list reaches the $25 mark now, and the d20 System list is a thing of the past. But we will not falter in our duty, and will help gamers and non-gamers alike find quality gamer gifts instead of holiday sweaters. As always, we've listed some of our favorite releases of the last twelve months for you and yours to study and employ in the shopping venue of your choice. So read on, as we suggest the good games that will make for great gifts this season.

Our holiday gift suggestions for 2008 are in the following lists:

Part 1 - Twelve Stocking Stuffer Games (12 Games of $25 or Less)
Part 2 - Twelve Days of Roleplaying (12 RPG Gift Ideas)
Part 3 - Twelve Boxes for Christmas (12 Boardgame Gift Ideas)
Part 4 - An Aetheric Christmas Dozen (12 Gifts in Electronic Formats)

Your chimney may need to be cleaned out annually, but the games we've suggested in previous years are still safe to bring out for quality game enjoyment. You'll find many excellent gift suggestions in our lists from 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003, 2002 or even 2001. Read on, and trust in OgreCave to provide a variety of holiday loot advice. The eggnog is on you, though.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from the Cave Dwellers of OgreCave!
